RUD Chains is seeking a hands-on leader with immediately start at our Head Office at Larapinta QLD ****. If you thrive in a fast-paced workshop environment, enjoys engaging and developing others, takes ownership of outcomes, and leads by example on safety, quality and performance.

Monday – Friday 6.30am – 3pm $88,000 – $95,000 per year (based on experience) + super

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you'll be responsible for coordinating workflow, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring customer orders are delivered on time. This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced tradesperson ready to step into a leadership role or an existing supervisor who enjoys working alongside their team.

What You'll Do

Lead and support a small team of Assembly Technicians & Trade Assistants
n




Perform hands‐on mechanical assembly, fitting and inspection work
n
Coordinate daily production activities and priorities
n
Drive safety, quality and on‐time delivery performance
n
Coach, train and develop team members
n
Champion continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
n

What You'll Bring
n

Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or similar - highly regarded
n
Strong mechanical assembly and workshop experience
n
Previous leadership, leading hand or supervisory experience
n
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
n
Commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
n
High Risk Forklift licence - highly regarded
n
