Job Description
Support qualified tradespeople with installing, maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems and components in a Central Coast workshop, helping keep operations running efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities
n

Provide general labouring support to qualified tradespeople, contractors and operators, using hand and power tools
n
Prepare and clean work areas, tools and equipment, keeping the worksite protected, tidy and ready for use
n
Handle materials and tools, making sure they're available and in good condition
n
Carry out basic tasks such as drilling, cutting and assembling components under supervision
n
Help document completed work and parts used
n
Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision, following safety procedures at all times
n
Communicate clearly with the team to keep work flowing smoothly
n

About you
n
n
Year 12 Certificate
n
Previous experience as a trade assistant or in a similar role (familiarity with electrical and mechanical components is an advantage)
n
Confidence using tools and instruments
n
A self-motivated, reliable and hard-working attitude, with the initiative to solve problems and work through tasks independently
n
Good people skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and take direction as part of a team
n
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work, including repetitive tasks when required
n
The ability to plan and prioritise your work, and handle setup and clean-up as needed
