About the Role
n
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to join our Community Care team in the Coffs Harbour region.
n
This role involves providing person-centred support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to live safely, independently, and with dignity.
n
Key Responsibilities - Personal Care Assistant
n
Assist clients with personal care including hygiene, grooming, bathing, toileting, and dressing
n
Support mobility, transfers, and maintain a safe home workplace
n
Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, social support, and light domestic duties
n
Build respectful, trusting relationships that promote client choice and independence
n
Observe and report changes in clients' health or circumstances to your supervisor
n




About You
n
You will bring:
n
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support, or equivalent with Medication Competency
n
Minimum 1 year experience as a Personal Care Worker
n
Current NSW Driver's Licence and reliable transport
n
A caring, patient, and respectful approach
n
Strong communication skills and professional boundaries
n
Reliability, punctuality, and integrity
n
Mandatory Requirements
n
Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain:

Current National Police Check
n
Relevant training or willingness to complete training (First Aid, Manual Handling, Infection Control, etc.)
