Job Description
About the Role
We are currently seeking 5 Piggery Attendants to join our team at Tong Park on a casual basis, working approximately 38 hours per week.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with animals, working as part of a team and being active throughout the day.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing day-to-day care and handling of pigs
Feeding and monitoring animal health and welfare
Maintaining clean and safe piggery facilities
Assisting with routine husbandry tasks
Following animal welfare, biosecurity, WHS and food safety procedures
Working effectively as part of a supportive team
Completing other general farm duties as required
About You




You don't necessarily need previous piggery experience — training will be provided to the right candidates.
We are looking for people who:
Have a genuine interest in working with animals
Are reliable, physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on environment
Can work effectively as part of a team
Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Are willing to follow procedures and learn new skills
Understand the importance of animal welfare, biosecurity and workplace safety
Have reliable transport to and from Tong Park
