Townsville GP Superclinic is looking for additional nurses to join our friendly team and work collaboratively with the GPs, allied health professionals, and support staff to provide high-quality, integrated care for our patients.
n
Casual or Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week) - We have flexible opportunities available for this position, which can be offered on either a casual or permanent full-time basis (38 hours per week). For those seeking casual flexibility with high-volume hours, we frequently have 3 to 4 shifts per week available (ranging from approx. 22.5 to 37.5 hours). We are looking for nurses who can work adaptively across our operating hours:

Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
n
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 9:30 PM
n
Sat & Sun: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
n
n
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
n
n
Triage, emergency response, immunisations, ECGs, spirometry, and audiograms
n
Assisting GPs with surgical procedures, excisions, and wound management
n




Infection control, sterilisation, immunisations, and vaccinations
n
Health assessments, chronic disease care plans, and health coaching
n
Managing eHealth, patient reminders, and treatment room coordination
n
Supporting Enrolled Nurses (applicable for Registered Nurse position)
n
n
The successful applicant must have:
n
n
Current AHPRA General Registration and Qualified Indemnity Insurance
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Great time management and multi-tasking ability
n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
n
A solution-focused approach with exceptional interpersonal skills
n
Ability to follow policies and procedures
n
Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
n
Previous nursing experience in an Australian primary healthcare setting
n
Proficiency inBestPracticeor similar Medicare clinical software
n
Experience or qualifications in immunisations, care plans, and health assessments
n
