Our projects are complex, technically demanding and hands-on from design through to construction, and we're looking for a Project Engineer to help bring them to life.
About the role n
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll translate engineering design and approved methodologies into secure, on-program site delivery. You'll plan and coordinate day-to-day works, track progress, manage subcontractors and suppliers, and maintain the quality, safety and commercial records that underpin successful projects. Based at our Chatswood head office, you'll make regular visits to sites across NSW, with occasional interstate travel.
Key responsibilities n
n
Delivering projects in line with the approved construction program and methodology
n
Preparing look-ahead programs, monitoring progress and flagging deviations early
n




Coordinating labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and deliveries
n
Preparing RFIs, resolving site issues and escalating where required
n
Maintaining site records to support cost control, variations, claims and EOTs
n
Championing safety across SWMS, ITPs, pre-starts, toolbox talks and WHS compliance
n
Driving quality outcomes and giving clear direction to supervisors and site crews
n
Key skills and qualifications n
n
Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural)
n
Minimum 2 years' construction experience, ideally in a site or project engineering role
n
Exposure to specialist works (post-tensioning, jacking, temporary works, heavy lifting, strengthening) highly regarded
n
Experience in construction methodology, sequencing and program control
n
Sound commercial awareness and disciplined record-keeping
n
Solid WHS knowledge and a proactive, preventative safety mindset
n
Confidence to work autonomously under pressure
n
Clean driving licence and own vehicle (essential)
n
Permanent residency / full work rights in Australia
n
