Residential Services Manager - Regional South Australia

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Residential Services Manager to provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership within a residential aged care environment. The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality and person-centred care while supporting a culture of respect, excellence, compassion and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
n
Provide effective leadership, coaching and performance management to develop an engaged, capable and high-performing workforce.
n
Oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred and rights-based care that reflects the individual needs and preferences of residents.
n
Lead clinical governance, quality assurance, risk management, compliance, incident management and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Ensure the service operates in accordance with relevant aged care, work health and safety, privacy, employment and regulatory requirements.
n
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and internal departments to coordinate effective care, resident wellbeing, hospitality, education, rostering and facility services.
n
Support workforce planning, recruitment, staff development, succession planning, performance management and ongoing professional education.
n
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, employees and key stakeholders to support a high-quality resident and customer experience.
n
Monitor and manage financial, workforce and operational performance,



including occupancy, AN-ACC funding, care minutes, rostering and workforce costs.
n
Lead and support organisational change while promoting contemporary aged care practices, innovation and evidence-based approaches to care.
n
Review quality indicators, audit outcomes, feedback and service performance, and implement appropriate strategies to support continuous improvement.

About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
Relevant qualifications in health, aged care, management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
n
Demonstrated leadership and management experience within a complex health, community or aged care setting.
n
Strong knowledge and experience in quality management, risk, compliance and clinical or operational governance.
n
Proven ability to lead, develop and positively influence multidisciplinary teams.
n
Experience managing budgets, financial performance, workforce costs and overall service outcomes.
n
Extensive experience delivering high-quality, person-centred care and services.
n
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
n
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through organisational change and transformation.
n
A current NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
n
Understanding of current aged care reforms and the move towards consumer-directed and person-centred care.
n
Postgraduate qualifications in health services management, business or a related discipline.
