Job Description
Rosalie Milton Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team on a casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care in a general practice setting, supporting our General Practitioners and contributing to the health and wellbeing of our patients. Based in Auchenflower QLD ****, you will play a vital role in delivering direct patient care, health promotion, and clinical support services. The casual nature of this position offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a meaningful impact within our practice.

Key responsibilities
n
Deliver direct patient care including wound management, injections, blood collection, minor procedures and cannulation
n
Perform vital signs monitoring and triage for patients attending the clinic
n
Provide immunisation services and manage vaccination programs in accordance with national guidelines
n
Support General Practitioners during consultations, clinical procedures and recall management
n
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and documentation
n
Promote health and wellbeing through patient education and preventative health advice. Proactively initiate Health Assessments and Chronic Condition Management Plans
n
Manage clinic workflows to ensure efficient patient care delivery
n
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, secure clinical environment
n
Collaborate with the broader healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care
n
About you
n
Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)



with AHPRA
n
Demonstrated experience working in a general practice or primary healthcare setting highly desirable
n
Strong knowledge of clinical nursing procedures and best practice standards
n
Current CPR and First Aid certification
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse patient populations
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment
n
Proficiency with electronic health records and medical practice management systems (Best Practice, HotDoc, MYGPMP, PRODA would be ideal)
n
A compassionate, patient-centred approach to healthcare delivery
n
Reliable, flexible and professional attitude suited to casual work arrangements
n
Must have Australian working rights
