Murravale Retirement Home Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicatedRegistered Nurseto join our aged care team on apart-time basis.

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive and community-focused environment.
This position is essential to our commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services and maintaining the wellbeing and dignity of our residents.
Key responsibilities
Assess residents' health conditions and develop individualised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
Administer medications safely and accurately, maintaining comprehensive medication records and ensuring compliance with aged care regulations
Monitor residents' vital signs, health status and any changes in condition, escalating concerns to senior staff or medical practitioners as appropriate
Provide direct nursing care including wound management, catheter care, personal hygiene support and other clinical interventions as required
Communicate effectively with residents, families and carers regarding care planning, health updates and any concerns or changes in wellbeing
Maintain detailed and accurate medical and nursing documentation in accordance with aged care standards and legislation
Support residents with managing chronic conditions and assist in implementing preventative health strategies
Collaborate with general practitioners, specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, coordinated care
Contribute to infection control practices and maintain safe, hygienic standards across the residential facility




Provide mentoring and support to nursing and aged care support staff as required
What we're looking for
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse
Proven experience working in aged care or residential healthcare settings
Strong knowledge of aged care regulations, standards and best practice guidelines in Australia
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, person-centred care with a focus on dignity and wellbeing
Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
Proficiency in electronic health records systems and medical documentation
A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining current nursing knowledge
Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work across varying shift patterns on a part-time basis
