What You Will Do
Deliverward-based medicines management servicesto support high-quality patient care and optimise medication use.
Undertake a range of duties as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to support ward-based teams.
Supportmedicines optimisation initiatives, working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Assist withmedicines reconciliation, helping to ensure medication records are accurate and up to date.
Liaise with pharmacists, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes and effective service delivery.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation in line with service requirements.
Provide essential ward-based pharmacy support across a range of hospital services.
Requirements
GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician is essential.
Previous experience working as aMedicines Management Pharmacy Technician within an NHS hospital.
Experience delivering ward-based medicines management services.
Experience usingCernersystems.
Ability to work independently with robust organisational skills.
Previous experience within a hospital pharmacy setting.
