THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Showroom Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day performance of a busy showroom in Fortitude Valley.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead a small team, drive sales and conversion, maintain high presentation standards and ensure every customer receives a consistent, high-quality experience.
This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, with flexibility required to work one weekend day.
Day-to-Day
Lead, coach and motivate a team of three, including one full-time and two casual team members
Set the standard for exceptional customer service and lead from the front on the showroom floor
Drive sales, conversion and other key retail performance measures
Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business through proactive client engagement
Manage daily showroom operations including opening and closing, stock control, rostering and team administration




Maintain a polished and inspiring showroom presentation in line with seasonal and promotional activity
Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial results
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching and ongoing development of team members
Ensure operational, workplace health and safety and compliance requirements are maintained
Work closely with the wider business to support campaigns, events, stock flow and customer deliveries
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Previous experience in a Store Manager, Showroom Manager, Assistant Store Manager or equivalent retail leadership position
Proven ability to lead and develop a small team in a customer-focused workplace
Strong commercial awareness with a track record of working towards sales and performance targets
Confident managing day-to-day retail operations, rostering and store administration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine customer-first approach
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of visual presentation
Comfortable using retail technology, POS and CRM systems
Experience within furniture, homewares, interiors, premium retail or a related environment will be highly regarded
Energetic, organised and comfortable working in a hands-on showroom setting

SALARY
$85,000 - $95,000 + Super (depending on experience)
