An established mechanical services contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator / Engineer to join their growing team.
With a strong reputation in the commercial building services sector and a healthy pipeline of secured work, this position offers the prospect to play a key role in the successful delivery of HVAC and refrigeration projects across a diverse range of commercial and industrial environments.
Working closely with project managers, suppliers and operational teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions and project pricing while supporting successful project delivery from conception through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
Review drawings, specifications and project documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates
Develop detailed quotations and tender submissions for commercial HVAC and refrigeration projects
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to obtain pricing and scope information
Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities where appropriate
Maintain estimating databases, supplier pricing schedules and project records
Support project handovers and procurement activities to ensure a smooth transition into delivery
Assist with technical reviews and project planning activities
About You
Previous experience in HVAC,



mechanical services or refrigeration estimating
Minimum 5 years' experience preparing estimates and tenders within the HVAC industry
Strong understanding of commercial mechanical services systems and project delivery
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Mechanical services qualification, engineering qualification or trade background highly regarded
