Job Description
This role provides administrative and coordination
n support to the Vendors and wider
n Wavelink
n team
n across the security, networking and intelligent networks pillars (excluding Fortinet). You will assist with vendor activity, maintain
n accurate
n information, coordinate follow-up actions, and learn how vendor programs and channel operations support growth in the Australia & New Zealand
n market.
n
Job Responsibilities
n
Vendor Administration and Coordination
n
n
Coordinate day-to-day administrative support for vendor activities, including. meetings and action items.
n
Assist in the development of vendor plans
n
Maintain vendor contact lists, activity trackers, pipeline notes and basic reporting information via Hubspot
n
Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes and following up assigned actions
n
Support the preparation of vendor updates, internal summaries and sales activity reports
n
Help gather information for pricing requests, deal registrations, rebates and vendor program requirements
n
Coordinate updates between vendors and internal teams
n
Lead vendor programs, processes and requirements
n
Track program requirements, funding information, rebate details and key dates
n
Prepare briefs for the Marketing team to ensure alignment on Vendor events and campaigns
n
Escalate questions, risks or incomplete information to the Head of Sales for guidance
n
n
Partner and Sales Team Support
n
n
Support the Sales Team by updating partner lists, activity trackers and basic pipeline information in Hubspot
n
Assist with coordinating partner communications, meeting notes and follow-up actions
n
Help collect information needed for sales forecasts, deal registrations and reporting
n
Provide responsive administrative support to help sales and vendor activity run smoothly
n
n
Communication and Team Support
n
n
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and vendor contacts.
n
Follow up actions, requests and information under the guidance of the Vendor Manager.
n
Build a working understanding of Wavelink's vendors, products, partners and internal processes.
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
Previous experience in vendor administration, sales support, vendor marketing coordination or a similar support role is required.
n
Prior experience working in technology distribution or partner landscape is required
n
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
n
Organisational skills and ability to manage tasks, deadlines and follow-up actions
n
Clear written and verbal communication skills
n
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ideally HubSpot
n
Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
n
