Located in Strathfield South NSW **** Full-time 38 hours per week. 48 months of work on offer 20 roles on offer ranging across all operations - no experience required. Starting pay is $*****/hour - Level 1 of the Meat Industry Award ****, with additional payments/penalties as per the award.
n
Progressing to higher levels is based on satisfactory skill evaluation. Roles start in November ****. Applicants must be fit, as the job entails repetitive lifting, movements and standing in an upright position for the entire shift.
n
Potential to upskill and progression opportunities. A dedicated team to provide on and off-the-job training Monday to Friday 4am to 2pm. Flexibility to work these hours is essential.




The role n
n
Receive meat cartons and check quantities against delivery paperwork
n
General cleaning duties
n
Movement of cartons between operational rooms
n
Assistance with Pick and pack
n
Labelling, stacking and wrapping of cartons
n
Loading and unloading of refrigerated vehicles
n
Basic dispatch, delivery and inventory records
n
Criteria n
n
Work well in a team environment
n
Safety conscious and able to follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
n
n
Guaranteed commitment to shift times, being versatile and punctual
n
n
Ability to conduct physical work in hot and cold environment
n
Possess a positive working attitude and not afraid to get your hands dirty
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, which includes and alcohol testing
n
Must undergo Q fever screening/testing and vaccination as required.
