Acting as a trusted representative for customers throughout the claims process, the business helps navigate complex insurance matters, liaises directly with insurers and supports customers from claim lodgement through to resolution.

About the Role
n
As a Claims Consultant, you'll manage a portfolio of insurance claims from start to finish, acting as the customer's advocate throughout the entire claims journey.
n
You'll work closely with customers, insurers, assessors, and internal stakeholders to progress claims, provide guidance, manage expectations and ensure positive outcomes are achieved.
n
Claims can vary in complexity and duration,



making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships and taking ownership of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
n

Manage a portfolio of insurance claims from lodgement through to resolution
n
Act as the primary point of contact and advocate for customers throughout the claims process
n
Liaise directly with insurance companies, assessors and other external stakeholders
n
Provide regular updates and guidance to customers regarding claim progress
n
Prepare, review and manage claim documentation and supporting evidence
n
Proactively progress claims and follow up outstanding actions
n
Manage customer expectations throughout the lifecycle of a claim
n
Handle complaints and difficult conversations professionally and empathetically
n
Advocate on behalf of customers while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
n
Manage multiple claims at varying stages simultaneously
n
Maintain accurate records across multiple systems and platforms
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you'll be a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and previous experience managing insurance claims.
n




You'll be comfortable navigating complex conversations, advocating for customers, and maintaining momentum across multiple active claims.
n
Ideally, You'll Have:
n
n
Previous insurance claims experience
n
Experience dealing directly with insurance companies and/or assessors
n
Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management experience
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Confidence handling complaints and challenging conversations
n
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
n
The ability to advocate for customers while remaining professional and solutions-focused
n
Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
n
Experience managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines
n
Confidence working across various systems and technology platforms
n

What They Can Offer

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
