Qualifications:
Solid knowledge of basketball skills and the ability to coach those skills
Solid knowledge of basketball rules
Previous experience with basketball
Ability to make decisions under pressure
Ability to develop winning strategies
Ability to motivate players
Exceptional leadership skills
Must have excellent communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching players the rules of the game
Studying the skills and abilities of the players to maximize performance
Devising play strategies
Developing ideas to optimize performance
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age
Have at least a high school diploma or GED
Must complete 5 mandatory online NFHS Learn courses prior to the first practice
Complete and pass an Expanded Criminal Background and CPS Check
Compensation:
Competitive pay based upon experience
Reports to:
Athletic Director and Varsity Head Girls Basketball Coach
