Production Supervisor - Windows & Doors Manufacturing

About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a windows, screens and doors manufacturing production line.
n
You will lead the production team, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety while meeting production targets and deadlines.
n
Windows and doors manufacturing experience is preferred, however, candidates with strong manufacturing supervision experience will also be considered.
n
This is a full-time 38-hour-per-week position, with overtime required when necessary.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Supervise daily production, ensuring quality and efficiency targets are met
n
Lead a Lean production line and drive continuous improvement
n
Manage labour requirements and production workflows
n
Identify and resolve production issues, including stock and staffing shortages
n
Manage team performance, training and development
n
Conduct timecard audits and maintain staff performance records
n
Ensure tools, machinery and workstations are safe and properly maintained
n
Liaise with warehouse, logistics, purchasing and maintenance teams
n
Manage stocktakes and maintain inventory accuracy
n
Ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures
n
Monitor production, quality and maintenance
requirementsOversee
end-of-day shutdown and lock-up procedures

Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new staff
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
Experience in a production supervision or manufacturing leadership role
n
Windows and doors manufacturing experience highly desirable
n
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles
n
Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
n
Excellent organisation and time management
n
Strong commitment to safety, quality and team development
n
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
n
Experience with M1 Software and Smartsheet advantageous
n
Unrestricted driver's licence – mandatory
n
White Card, First Aid and Dogging Licence desirable
n
