The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an experiencedCommunity & Stakeholder Engagement Officerto support the delivery of major government projects and programs across NSW.
The Role
You will support a broad range of community and stakeholder engagement activities, including:
Developing and implementingcommunity and stakeholder engagement plans
Coordinatingcommunity consultations, workshops, events and information sessions
Building positive relationships with community members, customers and key stakeholders
Preparingnewsletters, community notices, project/construction updates,



presentations and digital content
Managing and responding tocommunity enquiries, feedback and emerging issues
Identifying and escalating stakeholder risks where appropriate
About You
To be successful, you will ideally bring:
Previous experience incommunity engagement, stakeholder engagement, communications or public affairs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience developing communications for a range of audiences
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships withinternal and external stakeholders
Experience managing sensitive community enquiries and stakeholder concerns
Strong organisation and coordination skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced project setting
A proactive, professional and customer‐focused approach
