The Role




As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will:
Provide specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment
Deliver forensic mental health advice and leadership
Support multidisciplinary teams in the management of complex consumers
Supervise Registrars and Junior Medical Staff
Contribute to service development, education and training
Participate in quality, research and improvement initiatives
Opportunities exist across hospital, prison and community settings

Eligible Qualifications Include:
MRC / FRC Psych CCT Psychiatry CESR (where applicable) Consultant-level experience Current Fast-Track AHPRA Registration
Specialist College Assessment Ready Pathway (SCARP)

What We're Looking For
MRC and FRC Psych and relevant postgraduate qualifications
Experience in general adult, forensic, acute or secure psychiatry
Demonstrated clinical leadership experience
A commitment to recovery-oriented and patient-centred care
An interest in teaching, supervision and service development
Formal forensic psychiatry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
