We're looking for a Benefits Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a newly emerging role that will support critical project and remediation activity, providing analysis across claims activity, benefit rules, utilisation trends, payment outcomes and operational performance.

What You Will Be Working On
n
You'll be responsible for providing data-led analysis and insight across claims and benefits activity, including:
n
n
Analysing claims, benefits and utilisation data to identify trends,



anomalies and areas requiring investigation
n
Assessing how benefit rules, product settings and operational processes are being applied
n
Monitoring claims costs, benefit outlay, payment integrity and unusual claiming patterns
n
Identifying potential overpayments, underpayments, leakage and control gaps
n
Supporting remediation activities, including validation, tracking and reporting
n
Developing reports, dashboards and analysis packs to support decision-making
n
Assisting with benefit rule validation, claims controls and operational process reviews
n
Partnering with stakeholders across Claims, Product, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Data teams
n
Translating complex findings into practical recommendations and actionable insights for business stakeholders
n

What You'll Bring
n
We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with the ability to communicate insights clearly and influence outcomes.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
Private health insurance, healthcare, claims operations or benefits management experience
n
Experience working with claims, benefits, financial or operational data
n
Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to identify trends and root causes
n
The ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into practical business insights
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes
n
Experience engaging with a range of stakeholders across business functions
n
Experience supporting remediation or project-based initiatives
n
Advanced Excel skills and/or experience with Power BI
n
An understanding of benefit design, payment integrity, claims controls or root cause analysis
n
International Private Health Insurance experience
n
