About the Role
n
As a Field Service
Electrician/Technician,
you'll be responsible for ensuring residential properties comply with current smoke alarm legislation through high-quality installation, servicing, and maintenance.
n
You'll work across a variety of homes, liaising with tenants, property owners, and real estate agents, delivering qualified service while managing your day efficiently and safely.
n
You'll also be trained to deliver additional compliance services, making this a varied and interesting role beyond standard electrical work.
n
This role can be four days per week if you prefer.
n
Key Responsibilities
n

Deliver excellent customer service when dealing with property managers, tenants, residents, and private owners
n
Install, service, and troubleshoot smoke alarms in line with manufacturer instructions, legislation, and best practice
n
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Queensland smoke alarm legislation (and NSW where applicable)
n
Review and clarify work orders with the office team prior to attending jobs
n
Accurately record all work via the SAI tech portal, including photos and site details
n
Comply with all Queensland electrical safety regulations and internal safety policies
n
Manage time effectively while maintaining quality and compliance standards
n

About You
n
You'll likely have:

A current QLD Electrical Licence
n
A strong commitment to safety and compliance
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Good time management and attention to detail
n
Confidence working independently in the field
n
Basic tech skills for using mobile job management systems
n
A professional, reliable, and respectful approach when working in people's homes
n
