Job Description
As Head Barista at Tide Café Catering, you'll be responsible for leading and supporting our barista team in a fast-paced, high-volume café with a strong focus on quality coffee, great food and exceptional customer service. You'll deliver consistently excellent coffee, maintain coffee quality, consistency and presentation, and create a welcoming and positive experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

Leading and supporting our barista team
n
Delivering consistently excellent coffee in a high-volume environment
n
Maintaining coffee quality, consistency and presentation
n
Training and mentoring baristas to maintain high standards
n
Managing coffee station operations, including stock control, ordering and equipment maintenance
n
Working closely with management to ensure smooth daily operations
n
Creating a welcoming and positive experience for our customers
n

About you
n
n
Extensive barista experience, preferably in a busy, high-volume café
n




Robust leadership skills and enjoys developing a team
n
Excellent knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing and latte art
n
Can maintain speed, efficiency and quality during busy service periods
n
Reliable, organised and takes initiative
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Brings a positive attitude and works well within a team
n
Previous experience in a Head Barista or senior barista position will be highly regarded
n
