What you'll contribute to
n
Reporting to the Maintenance & Site Services Superintendent, the Electrician role is a part of a multidisciplinary site based team. Your work will support safe operations, reliable generation and long‐term plant performance.
n
In this role you will:
n
n
Complete preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical plant and equipment.
n
Diagnose faults and resolve complex plant and equipment issues.
n
Support plant inspections, modifications, shutdowns, restarts and planned outages.
n
Complete SAP notifications and work orders accurately and on time.
n
Apply Safe Work Systems and appropriate controls to every task.
n
Supervise contractors and support safe, high‐quality work across the site.
n
Identify practical improvements to systems, processes and work practices.
n
Work with operations, engineering, maintenance teams and service providers.
n

This is a permanent, full-time role based at Swanbank Power Station.
n
On your first day you will have:
n
n
A recognised electrical trade certificate.
n
A Queensland Electrical Workers licence or recognised equivalent.
n
At least five years of electrical trade experience.
n
Maintenance experience within power generation, heavy industry or complex processing.
n
Experience using maintenance systems and completing work orders.
n
A current manual C Class driver licence.
n
Instrumentation and control experience will be highly regarded.
n
EEHA, HVIA, EWP or other post-trade qualifications are also desirable.
