Job Description
Warringah Aluminium Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our skilled trades team on a full-time basis at our facility in Brookvale, NSW. Warringah Aluminium Pty Ltd is an established Northern Beaches metal fabrication business with over 40 years of industry experience. We have a large variety of work from small repairs to high-end architectural jobs. Our work covers aluminium, stainless steel, brass and mild steel, including architectural, marine, vehicle, industrial, residential and commercial projects.

What you'll be doing

Fabricate and weld aluminium and other metals according to technical drawings and specifications
n
Operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG and other welding processes, ensuring consistent quality and safety standards
n
Inspect completed welds and fabrications for defects, dimensional accuracy and adherence to customer requirements
n
Prepare materials and components for welding, including cutting, grinding and fitting operations
n
Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
n
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and protocols
n
Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment and machinery
n
Identify and report any issues or non-conformities in materials or completed work
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Trade qualification or Certificate in
Welding/Fabrication




or equivalent practical experience in a welding setting
n
Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder, with demonstrated proficiency in MIG, TIG and general welding techniques
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing work that meets quality standards
n
Competency in using hand tools, power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively
n
Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and best practices in a manufacturing environment
n
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual work, including standing and lifting where necessary
n
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
