Project We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor for a 3 month flood recovery and road maintenance project based in Hughenden.
n
This role will oversee day-to-day civil works, coordinate plant operators and site activities, and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Role You will be responsible for: n
n
Supervising day-to-day road maintenance and flood recovery works
n
Coordinating plant operators, labour and site activities
n
Allocating daily tasks and ensuring crews are working efficiently
n
Monitoring productivity, quality and project progress
n
Conducting and participating in pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site safety activities
n
Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, SWMS and site procedures
n
Identifying and resolving operational issues to minimise delays
n
Liaising with council representatives, contractors and other stakeholders
n
Coordinating plant, materials and resources across the project
n
Maintaining accurate site records, timesheets and relevant documentation
n
Supporting crews across roadworks, drainage, earthworks and general civil activities
n

About the Candidate n
n
Previous experience supervising civil construction or road maintenance crews
n
Strong background in roadworks, flood recovery, earthworks or local government projects
n
Experience coordinating plant operators and multi-skilled crews
n
Strong understanding of WHS, SWMS, toolbox meetings and site safety requirements
n
Ability to read plans, coordinate daily works and manage priorities
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to liaise confidently with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
n
Construction White Card
n
Relevant civil construction qualifications or plant competencies highly regarded
n
HR licence or plant operating experience advantageous
n
Availability to commit to the project duration
n
n
This role would suit a hands‐on Civil Supervisor who is comfortable working in a regional setting and can keep crews organised, productive and focused on safe project delivery.
