Valor Residential is a boutique design and build firm delivering high-end custom homes, knockdown rebuilds, and large-scale renovations across Sydney.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team and play a key role in delivering architecturally designed residential projects to a high standard.
n
About the Role
n
This position is suited to a carpenter who takes ownership on site and is confident leading key stages of construction.
n
You will be responsible for:
n
n
Leading carpentry works across framing, fix-out, cladding, and detailed finishes
n
Managing and mentoring apprentices and labourers
n
Maintaining high-quality workmanship across all stages
n
Coordinating with supervisors, trades, and suppliers
n
Ensuring works are completed efficiently and to program
n
Identifying and resolving on-site issues
n
n




About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Trade qualification in Carpentry
n
Minimum 5+ years residential construction experience
n
Proven experience leading or managing carpentry works on site
n
Solid attention to detail and pride in your work
n
Ability to work independently and take ownership
n
Good communication and organisational skills
n
Experience in high-end or architectural builds (preferred)
n
