Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

n The Role As a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, you will join a collaborative multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive O&G; services to a diverse and growing regional population.
n Your responsibilities will include:

Managing a broad range of
obstetric and gynaecological presentations
n
Caring for routine and complex pregnancies
n
Providing antenatal and postnatal care
n
Performing operative gynaecological procedures
n
Managing emergency O&G; presentations
n
Coordinating care for women with complex pregnancies
n
Working collaboratively with other medical, nursing and allied health teams
n
Contributing to high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care
n
Supporting the continued development of Women's Health services

Contributing to high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care
n
Supporting the continued development of Women's Health services
n
Teaching, Leadership & Professional Development n
This is a
RANZCOG-accredited training service
, making the position particularly attractive to Consultants who enjoy education, supervision and developing junior doctors.
n You will have opportunities to:

O&G; Registrars

Teach junior medical officers and medical students

Contribute to RANZCOG training and education

Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement

About You n
To be considered, you will have:
n

Fellowship of the
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG)
, or equivalent specialist qualifications
n
Specialist registration with
AHPRA
, or eligibility to obtain specialist registration
n
Broad Consultant-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
n
Strong clinical and communication skills
n
Commitment to patient-centred care
n
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n
An interest in teaching, education and service development
n
n
Internationally trained Obstetricians & Gynaecologists are encouraged to enquire
, subject to eligibility for specialist recognition and AHPRA registration.
