We're recruiting an experienced Trade Assistant to join a busy Queensland engineering team supporting Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers across workshop and site-based projects. Visa holders are encouraged to apply, provided they have at least 6 months remaining work rights in Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistant, Industrial Labourer, Forklift Operator, or hands‐on worker from a construction, manufacturing, mining, heavy industry, civil or engineering workshop background.
n

Previous Trade Assistant experience
n
Current Manual Driver's Licence
n
Current Forklift Licence (LF) -Preferred

Physically fit and capable of hands‐on work

What You'll Do
n
As a Trade Assistant, you'll provide critical support to mechanical and fabrication teams, assisting with maintenance, workshop production, installation and material handling activities.
n
n
Assisting Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers
n
Operating forklifts and dogging equipment
n
Supporting fabrication, maintenance and installation work
n
Loading, unloading and moving materials safely
n
Using hand and power tools
n
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
n
Following site safety procedures and inductions
n
