This role would suit someone with 5+ years' experience in residential estimating who has a strong understanding of construction, excellent attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
$100K–$130K + Super, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed estimates and pricing for residential construction projects
Review architectural plans, engineering drawings, specifications and selections
Complete detailed take-offs and quantity measurements
Prepare accurate costings and tender submissions
Obtain and assess pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
Review variations and project changes
Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive and commercially viable
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
Identify potential cost risks and opportunities throughout the estimating process
Work closely with the construction team to ensure a smooth handover from estimating through to construction
About You
5+ years' experience in residential estimating
Experience in Data Build highly regarded
Strong knowledge of residential construction and building processes
Excellent ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
Experience with take offs, costing and tender preparation
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Robust computer and estimating software skills
A proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously
A genuine interest in building a long-term career within residential construction
