H&S; Advisor | 300+ Unit Residential Project
A genuinely strong opportunity for an experienced H&S; Advisor to join one of Sydney's most established privately owned builder, working on a major 300+ apartment residential project.
This is a well-resourced project, where you will work closely with and report into an experienced Senior H&S; Manager, rather than being left to manage the entire safety function on your own.
The Role
You will take an active role across site safety and environmental compliance, including:
Reviewing and approving SWMS, SDS, JSA and environmental documentation
Managing staff inductions and contractor onboarding through Hammertec
Conducting regular site safety and environmental inspections
Identifying hazards and ensuring corrective actions are closed out
Assisting with incident investigations and reporting
Maintaining safety documentation, risk assessments and incident registers
Monitoring waste management, pollution control and environmental requirements
Working closely with subcontractors, Site Managers and the wider project team
Driving a positive and proactive safety culture across site
This is a
hands-on site role
. They want someone who enjoys being out on the project,



speaking with trades and working collaboratively with the construction team.
What They Are Looking For
Minimum
3 years' experience
within construction safety / WHS in a similar role.
Diploma, Cert IV or relevant qualification in WHS / OHS
Residential or major commercial construction experience preferred
Hammertec experience would be highly regarded
Strong understanding of SWMS, risk assessments and subcontractor compliance
Confident dealing with trades and subcontractors
Strong communication skills
Practical and solutions-focused approach to safety
Someone who can build relationships rather than simply police the site
Must have experience working in Australia,
