ARLAM is a small, family-owned business specialising in vegetation mulching and vegetation management across the Maitland and Hunter Valley region.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Workshop Hand to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving general labouring, workshop duties, equipment maintenance and assisting our mobile plant operators.
n
About the Role
n
Working as part of a small, supportive team, you will assist with day-to-day workshop activities and field operations. For the right person, there may also be an opportunity to progress into operating specialised vegetation mulching equipment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
General labouring and workshop duties
n
Assist with the maintenance, servicing, and preparation of equipment
n
Support mobile plant operators as requiredAssist with loading, unloading, and moving equipment
n
Keep workshop areas, equipment, and job sites clean and organised
n
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
n
Undertake training to develop skills in specialised vegetation mulching equipment
n
n
About You
n

Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work

Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Safety-conscious and takes pride in their work

Keen to develop practical skills and build a long-term career

White Card
n
Current manual driver's licence
n
Ability to undertake physically demanding work

Experience
n
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Workshop or mechanical work

Mobile plant operation

Machinery maintenance

Vegetation management or landscaping
