Job Description
Team Global Express is seeking an experienced MC Linehaul Driver to join our team based at our Karawatha QLD depot.
n
This is a full-time, permanent night shift position operating on our Brisbane to Rockhampton Woolworths contract, transporting dry and refrigerated grocery freight.
n
You'll operate Volvo automatic trucks, travelling between Brisbane and Rockhampton with store deliveries in the Rockhampton area.

The Role
n
Based at Karawatha QLD
n
Night shift - 6/4 fortnightly roster
n
Brisbane to Rockhampton return linehaul
n
Departures generally between 7:00pm and 10:00pm
n
Monday, Wednesday and Friday departures to Rockhampton, returning Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
n
Motel accommodation provided in Rockhampton for required rest breaks
n
1 RDO accrued each month - 11 RDOs per year
n
$******* per hour for applicable work time
n
Kilometre rate paid for Brisbane to Rockhampton and return travel
n
Paid loading/unloading and store delivery time
n
15% superannuation
n
11 RDOs per year
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
Report to the Karawatha depot prior to departure
n
Complete pre-departure checks and prepare your vehicle
n
Travel to Larapinta to collect trailers from the Woolworths site
n




Complete linehaul runs between Brisbane and Rockhampton
n
Complete up to three store deliveries in the Rockhampton area
n
Transport dry and refrigerated grocery freight
n
Complete required rest breaks in provided motel accommodation
n
Maintain high standards of safety, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility compliance
n
About You
n
To be successful, you will need:
n
Minimum 5 years' linehaul driving experience
n
Experience operating B-Doubles and completing long-distance linehaul runs
n
All vehicles on this run are Volvo automatics, so Road Ranger experience is not required.
n
Current Blue Card in Transport
n
BFM accreditation
n
Strong understanding of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements
n
Positive communication skills and a strong safety focus
n
Ability to work the required night roster and spend scheduled rest periods away from home
n
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment and a National Police Check
n
