About the Role
n
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mapping Survey Vehicle Driver to operate a specially equipped vehicle used for geographic data collection. You will play a key role in supporting mapping, GIS, and infrastructure projects by driving pre-assigned routes while collecting high-accuracy geospatial data using specialized equipment.

NOTE: This position is only from October to November ****. You will be required to travel throughout Australia during the entire period.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Operate a mapping survey vehicle across urban, rural, and remote areas.
n
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure full area coverage.
n
Monitor and maintain survey equipment (e.g., 360° cameras, LiDAR sensors, GPS units).
n
Perform daily equipment checks and basic troubleshooting.
n
Accurately log completed routes and survey progress.
n




Communicate with the technical team for data upload and issue reporting.
n
Ensure vehicle cleanliness and safe operation at all times.
n
Requirements
n
Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record.
n
Comfortable with long hours of driving and working independently.
n
Good understanding of GPS navigation and digital maps.
n
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to schedule.
n
Basic tech literacy; ability to operate tablets, GPS units, and data-logging devices.
n
Physically able to get in and out of a vehicle frequently and lift light equipment.
n
Previous experience in survey, mapping, or fleet driving.
n
Familiarity with GIS, LiDAR, or photogrammetry equipment.
