About the Role n
We are seeking an experienced
Forklift Operator
to join a busy transport warehouse based in
Lytton, QLD
. This role is ideal for a skilled operator with experience handling
steel products
, operating
heavy forklifts
, and using a range of
forklift attachments
.
n
You will be responsible for safely moving and storing steel products, unloading deliveries, and working within a fast-paced warehouse setting with
tight aisles
. Overtime is available and may be required to meet operational demands.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Operate heavy forklifts safely and efficiently.
n
Handle, unpack, and transport steel products.
n
Load and unload trucks using the appropriate forklift attachments.
n
Operate forklifts fitted with various attachments for different load types.
n
Use RF scanners for inventory control and stock movements.
n




Accurately move and store stock within the warehouse.
n
Navigate tight warehouse aisles safely and efficiently.
n
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
n
Work overtime when required.
n
Essential Requirements n
n
Current
LF Forklift Licence
.
n
Minimum 3
years of forklift operating experience
.
n
Previous
steel unpack or steel handling experience
is essential.
n
Experience operating
heavy forklifts
.
n
Proven experience using
various forklift attachments
.
n
Experience using
RF scanning systems
.
n
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
n
Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
n
Willingness to work overtime as required.
n
