Job Description
Corryong Family Bakery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Baker to join our friendly local team. This role is suitable for someone who is passionate about traditional baking and committed to producing fresh, consistent and high-quality products for the community.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake breads, rolls, buns, scrolls and other bakery products.
n
Measure, mix, knead, scale, mould and shape dough according to recipes.
n
Manage fermentation, proofing, oven temperatures and baking times.
n
Follow daily production schedules and ensure products are available on time.
n
Finish bakery products with glazes, icings, toppings and other decorations.
n
Check ingredients and finished products for quality and freshness.
n
Maintain stock levels and store ingredients correctly.
n




Follow food safety, hygiene and occupational health and safety requirements.
n
Clean and sanitise bakery equipment, utensils and work areas.
n
Support junior team members and contribute to an efficient production environment.
n

About You
n
n
Relevant baking qualification or equivalent experience.
n
At least two years of relevant experience preferred.
n
Robust knowledge of dough preparation, proofing and oven management.
n
Ability to work early mornings and weekends.
n
Excellent time-management and teamwork skills.
n
Reliable, hardworking and committed to maintaining high standards.
