About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts 2IC to join our team at Clark Equipment's Acacia Ridge branch.
n
This is a hands-on position focused on staff supervision, customer service, and service department support — ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our Parts Department.
n
Reporting to the Parts Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and high customer satisfaction standards.
n
This role is ideal for a senior Parts Interpreter or team leader ready to take the next step in their career within a well-established and respected organisation.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Assist the Parts Manager in supervising and supporting daily team activities
n
Deliver high-quality customer service to external customers, internal sales, and service teams
n
Accurately interpret and supply parts across multiple brands and product lines
n




Liaise with the service department to ensure parts availability and timely repairs
n
Support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
n
Manage order accuracy, supplier communication, and backorder tracking
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

Proven experience in parts interpreting and customer service
n
Strong leadership or supervisory skills
n
Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking abilities
n
A mechanical or technical understanding of mobile plant, forklifts, or heavy equipment (highly regarded)
n
A proactive, customer-focused attitude and commitment to teamwork
n
A current forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
n
