Manningham Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Service deliversa high-quality program that supports the diverse and growing community ofManningham.



Our dedicated Maternal and Child Health nurses are passionate aboutpartnering with families to create a safe, respectful, and inclusiveenvironment where children can thrive.
We are seeking a positive, motivated, and compassionateMaternal and Child Health Nurse to join our collaborative team. In this role,you will provide a flexible, universal, and family-focused Maternal and ChildHealth service that supports the health, wellbeing, and development of childrenfrom birth to six years of age.
Using a holistic, strengths-based, and family-centredapproach, you will work in partnership with parents and carers to maximise eachchild's health and developmental potential while supporting family wellbeing.
About the Service
The Universal Maternal and Child Health Service aims tooptimise maternal, child, and family wellbeing, with a strong focus onpromoting positive mental health, healthy relationships, and earlyintervention. Our service focuses on the prevention, identification, andmanagement of physical, developmental, emotional, and social factors that mayimpact young children and their families.
Through health promotion, developmental assessments, andtimely referrals, we support families to access the services and resources theyneed to achieve positive outcomes.

Skills and Experience
Current registration as both a registered nurse and midwife on the AHPRA register, with Post graduate Diploma/Masters Child and Family Health Nursing.
A demonstrated commitment toparticipate in continuous improvement, education, professionaldevelopment, to increase knowledge and skills.
Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills
Knowledgeand understanding of family partnerships, child development and behaviour.
Driver's licence valid in Victoria.
