Immanuel Lutheran College is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Learn to Swim Teacher to join our team on a casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity to share your passion for swimming with students and help them develop vital life-long water safety and swimming skills. Early morning, mid-morning and afternoon shifts available.

What you'll be doing
n
Provide high-quality swimming lessons to babies, toddlers and students of all ages and abilities
n
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
n
Plan and deliver engaging, structured swim programs that are tailored to the individual needs of each student
n
Provide regular feedback and progress reports to students and their families
n
Collaborate with the wider sports and recreation team to support the overall aquatics program at the college
n
What we're looking for
n
Relevant qualifications in swimming teaching, such as Austswim or Swim Australia Teachers certification
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate students
n
A current First Aid certificate and CPR qualification
n




A passion for aquatics and a commitment to helping students develop their swimming abilities
n
(Desired but not essential) Demonstrated experience in teaching learn-to-swim programs to a diverse range of age groups and skill levels
n
