Are you passionate about supporting individuals on their mental health journey? We're looking for compassionate and experiencedMental Health Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Wollongong, NSW.

Your Role:
n
n
Provide person-centred care and daily living support to individuals with mental health diagnoses.
n
Encourage independence and implement tailored support plans.
n
Create a safe, respectful, and empowering environment.
n
Work collaboratively to manage complex behaviours and emotional needs.
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
n
Strong communication skills with excellent spoken and written English.
n
Hands-on experience supporting individuals with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychosis, paranoia, or complex behaviours (highly desirable).
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n




driver's licence and reliable transport.
n
First Aid and CPR certification.
n
Police check.
n
NDIS Orientation Modules completion.
n
Infection control certificate.
n
Mental Health First Aid and Certificate in Mental Health (desirable).
n
Must be available for sleepover shifts (non-negotiable).
n
Fluent in English.
n
Well-versed in writing & documentation shift notes/incident reports.
n
Willingness to learn and be part of a team.
n
String boundaries.
