Maintenance & Grounds Officer - Retirement Living
We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance & Grounds Officer to support the upkeep of our Immanuel Gardens Retirement Living community, ensuring facilities, gardens and shared spaces are safe, functional and well presented.
Location: Buderim - QLDRole Type: Part-Time (60 hrs fortnight) | Tuesday to Friday | 7:30 am to 3:36 pm
Remuneration: $***** - $***** ph + Supe + Salary Packaging + Staff discounts & benefits
About The Role
In this hands-on role, you'll manage the day-to-day maintenance of buildings, gardens, and grounds, ensuring everything is safe, tidy, and well-kept.
Key responsibilities include:
General maintenance and upkeep of lawns, gardens, and common areas
Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and external cleaning
Identifying and reporting new risks while working to minimise existing ones.
Undertaking administrative tasks related to maintenance operations.
Managing external contractors and minor building projects
Using equipment and materials safely and responsibly
Your work will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Gardening experience essential; aged care or retirement living experience desirable
About You
Experience in commercial maintenance and groundskeeping within an aged care setting or a similar environment.




Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow safety procedures and preventative maintenance schedules
A team player with a proactive attitude,proven ability to demonstrate a customer service focus.
Valid Police Check and Queensland Driver's Licence
Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance
