Moyne Health Services in Port Fairy has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing Allied Health team as a Grade 2. This role can be worked on a part time or full time basis.

About the Role
n
The role of the Occupational Therapist is to provide therapeutic interventions, advice and education for clients referred to MHS.
n
Services provided may include adapting the environment, modifying tasks, teaching current skills, education and accessing supports.
n
The Occupational Therapist may also be consulted as a subject matter expert by other MHS departments or committees.
n
A range of Occupational Therapy services may be provided across the organisation in the following settings; Acute Ward, Community Health, Residential Aged Care, Social Support Groups and staff wellbeing programs.

About You
n
Minimum Qualifications:
n
n
Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy
n
n
Key Selection Criteria:
n
n
Qualified Occupational Therapist with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
n
Knowledge and understanding of various funding streams and the available support programs available to people
n
Service delivery experience within an Acute Hospital, Residential Aged Care and the Community Health sector.
n
Understanding of Accreditation Standards,



quality systems and continuous improvement models
n
Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment
n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
n
Intermediate skills (or higher) in Microsoft Office programs
n
n
Desirable Selection Criteria:
n
n
Demonstrated experience managing service provision within an allocated budget
n
Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Standards and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS)
n
