The Role
You will oversee day-to-day customer account operations, ensuring efficient processing, strong customer engagement and effective management of outstanding balances. You will play a key role in improving cash outcomes, reducing overdue debt and enhancing customer experience through structured and proactive account management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a team managing customer accounts, billing queries and collections activity
Monitor and manage aged debt, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding balances
Drive cash collection performance through proactive customer engagement and structured follow-up
Support complex customer issues and escalations relating to accounts and payments




Set and track performance targets including collection outcomes, activity levels and service KPIs
Produce reporting and insights to support forecasting, performance tracking and decision-making
Work closely with internal stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Customer teams
Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and customer outcomes
Coach and develop team members to improve capability and performance
About You
Experience in customer accounts, collections, accounts receivable or similar operational finance environment
Previous experience in a leadership or senior team support role
Strong understanding of debtor management and customer account processes
Ability to analyse data and drive performance improvements
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Intermediate Excel and reporting capability
