Managing litigation files from initial advice through to resolution
Drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions, correspondence and other legal documents
Advising clients on commercial disputes, contractual issues and risk management strategies
Conducting legal research and providing practical, commercially focused advice
Briefing and liaising with counsel
Attending negotiations, mediations and court appearances
Maintaining high standards of file management and professional compliance
About You
Admission to practice in New South Wales with a current practising certificate
1-3 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation and/or commercial law
Strong drafting and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
Confidence working directly with clients, counsel, courts and other solicitors
Experience using Smokeball is advantageous but not essential
