Key responsibilities
n
Lead, organise and support the yard team
n
Coordinate daily yard activities and workflow
n
Oversee the receiving, storage, picking and dispatch of products
n
Ensure customer orders are accurately prepared and ready on time
n
Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks
n
Maintain stock organisation and assist with stock control
n
Operate forklifts and other yard equipment
n
Maintain a clean, organised and protected yard
n
Ensure WHS procedures and company policies are followed
n
Train and support team members
n
About you
n
Experienced in a yard, warehouse, steel, rural supplies or similar environment
n
A confident team leader who can organise and motivate others
n
Practical, reliable and willing to get hands-on
n
Well organised and able to prioritise competing tasks
n
Safety-focused with a strong understanding of workplace safety
n
A good communicator who works well with both staff and customers
n
Comfortable working outdoors and in a physically demanding environment
n
Confident operating forklifts and machinery
n
Forklift licence - essential
n
MR/HR/HC highly regarded
