Job Description
We're an established Australian manufacturer supplying steel-fabricated products to some of the world's largest mining operations. We're a close-knit team that takes pride in our work, and we're looking for a skilled fabricator to help strengthen our fabrication shop, based in Acacia Ridge.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their craft and wants a stable position with the autonomy to make a real impact.

The Role
n
You'll handle fabrication and basic machining with a high level of autonomy. Working to schedule, you'll maintain quality standards and bring the experience and discipline needed to keep the workshop running smoothly.
n

What a typical day looks like:
n
n
Work from drawings and schedules to complete fabrication tasks independently
n
Perform metal fabrication, including cutting, forming, welding, and finishing
n
Carry out structural and pipe fabrication where required (experience dependent)
n
Operate workshop machinery, including lathes, mills, and general fabrication equipment
n
Inspect your work and maintain quality standards
n
Identify process improvements and raise them with the team
n

What We're Looking For
n
Skills & Experience:
n
n
Trade qualified — Certificate III in Metal Fabrication or equivalent
n
At least 5 years of hands-on fabrication experience
n
Confident and competent with GMAW/GTAW
n
Experience in sheet metal and pipe fabrication
n
Basic machining experience with a lathe, mill, or similar equipment
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively
n
Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
n
