Join a progressive, owner‐operated mixed cropping business in a true senior farmhand/assistant role. You'll take charge of day‐to‐day operations—run modern machinery, set priorities, and keep things moving when the owners are off‐farm. About the role:
n
n
Run seeding/harvest machinery and daily servicing
n
Operate boom spray
n
Own day‐to‐day logistics and coordination
n
Support/guide seasonal staff during peak periods
n




Keep owners informed
n
execute to plan
(agronomy/programming
set by owners)
n
Basic mechanical troubleshooting
n
Occasional truck driving at seeding and harvest (HR/HC)
n

About you:
n
n
Broadacre experience (seeding & harvest) with strong machine skills
n
Boom spraying competence (or transparent pathway to autonomy)
n
Practical mechanical aptitude
n
safety‐first mindset
n
Communicative, low‐ego, reliable
n
works well solo and with owners
n
Licences: C essential (HR/HC/MC highly regarded)
n
