About the role
n
This role combines MR truck driving with hands-on asphalt labouring. You'll be part of a crew that works together to maintain and repair Parramatta's roads and civil infrastructure.
n
What you will be doing:
n
n
Helping install and repair asphalt surfaces across Parramatta — real, hands-on work where you can see the results of your effort every day.
n
Using a range of hand and power tools to prepare surfaces, including grading, compacting and general site prep.
n
Operating machinery such as rollers, pavers, plate compactors and skid steers (training provided if needed).
n
Loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment from MR trucks and work vehicles.
n
Working as part of a tight-knit crew, following instructions and completing tasks safely and on time.

Monday to Friday | 9-Day Fortnight | 6.00am-3.00pm

We are offering an attractive weekly salary from $1,****** to $1,****** plus 12% superannuation.
n
This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award ****, which could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.
n

You may also bring:
n
n
Experience in asphalt, concreting, civil labouring or similar outdoor trade work or willingness to learn
n
Confidence using hand tools and small plant equipment such as compactors, jackhammers, rakes and shovels
n
The ability to drive MR trucks safely and responsibly
n
A genuine enjoyment of physical outdoor work
n
A strong team mindset and the ability to follow instructions and work safely with others
n
n
Qualifications:

MR Truck licence
n
White Card
n
n
This position requires the preferred candidate to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical Check, which also includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
