The Team & Role
Senior Medical staff are valued members of the leadership team at Bayside Health Peninsula committed to upholding values of the organisation and meeting our goals.
We are seeking a locum Nephrologist to supervise and see patients in a Wednesday afternoon CKD clinic. The clinic run from 130 pm until 430 pm for patient consultation and ******* pm for end of clinic case discussion with Renal Advanced Trainee (Renal AT) and a Basic Physician Trainee (BPT). The whole clinic, inclusive of all patients seen by Renal Advanced Trainee and the BPT is about 15 patients.
Bayside Health Peninsula, at present have 4 Nephrologists, 2 Nephrology Nurse Practitioners, 3 satellites haemodialysis units,



a 4-chair acute dialysis unit, high level ICU services, acute vascular and chronic vascular services, comprehensive imaging and interventional radiology services, chronic haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis services, CKD education and CKD programme and comprehensive outpatient clinics (CKD, CKD education, HD, PD). There are regular histopathology sessions with a Renal Histopathologist and there is a weekly programme for CME and unit meetings.
Skills & Experience Required
Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration
FRACP with Subspecialty recognition in Nephrology.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to work with individuals and families for positive health outcomes and to foster productive working relationships both internally and externally
Demonstrate commitment to providing quality service to the patient
Demonstrate ability to be adaptable to change
