Casual Chef/Cook
to join our hospitality team on a flexible, casual basis. What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking meals according to a prederermined menu requirement and food safety standards
Ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards
Managing food storage, inventory and stock rotation in accordance with health and safety regulations
Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment at all times
Following all food preparation techniques and dietary requirements as specified
Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
Adhering to all food safety protocols and handling allergen information responsibly
Contributing to menu planning and suggesting new dish ideas where appropriate
What we're looking for
Proven experience working as a Chef or Cook in a skilled kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and kitchen safety standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining quality and consistency




Sound understanding of food hygiene and health and safety regulations
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
A team-oriented approach with strong communication skills
Flexibility and adaptability in a casual working arrangement
Relevant qualifications or certifications in food handling and safety are advantageous
Experience in aged care, retirement village or hospitality settings is preferred
