High Voltage Electrician (7/7 Rotating Roster) | Bowen Basin n
Join one of Central Queensland's growing mining electrical contractors.
n
With our continued growth HS Maintenance is looking for two experienced High Voltage Electrician to join our team on a 7/7 rotating roster across Bowen Basin mine sites.
n
You will have the option to remain at the one mine site.
n
If you've worked on electric haul trucks, draglines, electric rope shovels or other heavy mining plant, we want to hear from you.
n
Expressions of Interest are also open to subcontractors wishing to apply and ADHOC rosters are also available if something more flexible is more your style.
About the Role n
Working across leading open-cut coal operations, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, breakdowns and shutdown work on some of the industry's largest electrical mining equipment.
n
This is a long-term prospect with consistent work, excellent conditions and a company that genuinely values its people.
Essential Experience n
n
Experience maintaining and fault-finding on
electric mining equipment
n
Experience working on
Electric Haul Trucks
n
Experience working on
Draglines
n
Experience with
Electric Rope Shovels
(highly regarded)
n




HV maintenance and fault finding experience
n
Strong understanding of mine site safety systems and procedures
n
Minimum Requirements n
n
Current Queensland Electrical Licence
n
High Voltage qualifications and experience desired
n
Standard 11
n
Current Coal Board Medical
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
Ability to work safely within a high-performing maintenance team
n
